When I was done downloading it, I clicked on the link to your blog because the name was so intriguing! Wow! That is a neat story about your dad and your husband's story is quite amusing, too. I must admit, that even though I like asparagus, I don't eat it much and I would never have thought of put mayo on it. I just may try that someday - I like to try new things! Oh, I'd also like to say that I also have noticed "my normal vs your normal" kinds of things and I usually think the differences are quite interesting and fun.
Oh and thank you for the pattern!
BrendaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29676853.post-71752745368108484452012-06-14T17:12:24.696-06:002012-06-14T17:12:24.696-06:00Thanks for telling the story! And eat asparagus without any sauce. Ugh, I cannot tell you how much I hated creamed asparagus. But when Papa was grabbing a quick lunch, he would give me some of his canned asparagus and Miracle Whip and I thought it was so much better than what Mom made! And it's especially funny to me right now as I realize how much asparagus and mayonnaise is kind of like an alternate reality creamed asparagus!Sushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09184460047216084152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29676853.post-35260411308848904952012-05-31T11:22:01.221-06:002012-05-31T11:22:01.221-06:00I haven't got a problem with the concept. Just not sure I could eat canned asparagus - with or without a stable emulsion of oil, egg yolk and vinegar. ;-)jmkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06598246798399490063noreply@blogger.com
