This just crazy excites me

Houston, we have a sock! I finished it last night, put it on, and was thrilled when it fit like a glove! I've been very lucky with my first sock and have experienced no major problems (knock on wood). Silver and her wonder tutorial can take most of the credit.

I'll cast on the mate tonight and take it with me to Toronto. Maybe I'll become like one of those people who take pictures of their socks in exciting and exotic locales. Like we used to with the Lando and Mulder action figures. Just trading one form of dorkiness for another, here, kids. ;)

Congrats! It looks sooo great! And, you are showing the initial signs of a sick-knitting addiction... Wonderful!

Have fun in Toronto! I've been there several times, for business and with dh, and it's such a great city (though you may already know that)..... Maybe you'll run into the yarn harlot.....

Congratulations on the sock. It looks great. Yep, I'm one of those people, too--with my big black socks. I'm thinking it's about time the sock went on another adventure.

Oh it's beautiful Sus! Looks like a perfect sock, not just a perfect first sock. I love the colorway too! Congratulations on your new addiction. :o)

Wow, great sock! My first sock is coming along ever so slowly! Have fun in Toronto. I got to see it across Lake Ontario, when we were at Niagara-On-The-Lake 2 summers ago, but we didn't actually go there.

I there! Thanks for visiting my blog! The sock pattern is "Little Speckled Toes by Annie's Attic. It's wicked easy! They were really fun to make. I'll post a picture of both socks soon!
PS-Great blog! I'll be back to visit!
